To gain access to Anthropic’s Claude models on Vertex AI, you'll need to complete a form with information such as your Google account and Google Cloud project ID. Access to these models on Vertex AI is subject to approval by Anthropic, as stated in the request form. Please refer to the image below for reference:
You can also check the following consideration that might help you resolve the error:
- Check GCP Project - Ensure that you have selected the correct GCP project in the Vertex AI console.
- Marketplace API - Ensure the Google Cloud Marketplace API ( cloudcommerceconsumerprocurement.googleapis.com ) is enabled for your project. You can do this in the Google Cloud Console under APIs & Services > Library .
- Permissions - Make sure you have the necessary permissions to enable and use partner models.
- Region Verification: Ensure that the geographical location settings for your Google Cloud project and billing account are correct. Even if your billing address is accurate, there could be a mismatch in the region from which you're trying to access the models. Check for any regional settings within the Vertex AI console related to model deployment or access.
