Problem Statement: How do I adjust the data store setting to answer question based off datastore data vs. going to Gen AI fallback
When I ask the same question in a few different ways 1/2 times the no-match gen AI fallback is triggered and 1/2 times it provides an answer from the datastore. When I look at the original response when the Gen AI fallback is triggered I can see in the orignal response, the datastore (company website) multiple responses are pulled. The pulled respones look accurate to me in that If I ask 'how to sign up' I can see the extracted response is pulled from the 'how to sign up page'. However, even with all these extracted responses, the Fallback is still triggered. How do you configure the datastore to use those answers vs. go to fall back?
Hi Ian,
probably you will need to play with the ground level in the gen AI agent settings > data store. Set it to a lower value.
Best,
Xavi
Is that the only thing you can do? I have altered the ground level to very low and it still picks up a no match even though I can see valid/accurate data store responses in the original response
My other suggestion would be to ensure the information in the data store is not too verbose. You can create multiple datastore that are more specific to certain topics and depending on the page you can call one or another. Probably you will have better answers.
Even if the one large data sore included all the pages on the website? I have 1 datastore crawling through all the site, ie. www.testcompany.com/* . Would I create a smaller datastore for another portion of the site: www.testcompany.com/store/* ?
I will recommend to create smaller ones.
