Welcome to Google Cloud Community!

It seems you're experiencing an issue related to monitoring and reporting tools. 

Here are some possible reasons and workarounds:

  • Your account or project might have reached a specific usage limit that prevents further data from being recorded in the graph. Looking at the image below that you shared looks like you’ve reached the limit.

Check your project's quotas for the Translation API and ensure you haven't exceeded any limitations. You may also want to review the official documentation related to Cloud Translation API quotas and limits.

  • There might be temporary issues with the monitoring or reporting services within GCP. Visit the Google Cloud Service Health Dashboard  to see if there are any reported issues with the relevant services. 

If the problem persists:

  • You might want to experiment with the alternative methods for tracking character counts (Cloud Logging or custom metrics) to see if they provide more consistent data.
  • Engage with Google Support: If none of these steps work, it's best to engage Google Cloud support directly for assistance in troubleshooting the issue.
