Dialogflow CX - Overlaps Table

I've been looking at the Overlapping Intents table (Intents -> Overlaps) and so far the columns # of Overlaps and Overlap Rate have remained at 0 no matter how many overlaps there are. Intents only appear here if there's a conflict (the orange warning triangle even tells you specifically which training phrases overlap) but the table never seems to reflect this.

Has anyone else encountered this? Might it be a bug? I can't find any mention of this in the Docs so was wondering if it's a relatively new feature

I know it’s frustrating to have issues with the overlapping intents table, especially when handling conflicting intents.

While Google is continually improving Dialogflow CX, this behavior could be due to the following:

  • Bug: The system might have a bug causing unexpected behavior.
  • Delayed Data Update: There could be a lag in data refreshing within the table. This can sometimes happen due to processing delays or network latency. Try waiting a few moments, then refresh the page to see if the metrics are updated as expected.

If the issue persists, I suggest filing an issue report so that our Engineering Team can look into it. Before filing, please take note on what to expect when opening an issue.
