Dialogflow CX not saving a datastore when added from a page

I am on a Dialogflow CX flow, on a page - not the start page though of a flow. 

I am adding a datastore from the "Add state handler".  I want the agent to look at the datasource & answer questions based on the information in the datasource. 

However, while adding, it gives the below warning. 

Data store updates take some time to propagate and might not be immediately available. 

I can add the datastore, add generator & then save it (no warnings or errors so far); but after a while, the datastore disappears. 

Is it anything related to the above message ? OR I am doing something wrong ?
I tried waiting for days to see if there is an issue with propagation etc. and this issues continues to exist. 

Any help ?

This is weird, what I would suggest is to delete and re-create the datastore. Make sure that you save all the changes that you do because sometimes I always forget to click the save button.
