Hi AI/ML Community,
I'm working on setting up a conversational agent using Dialogflow [mention CX or ES if you know which one, e.g., "Dialogflow CX"] that will make outbound calls to patients to schedule appointments. For better local presence and patient trust, I need to provision a phone number with the 619 area code.
When I tried to set this up in the Dialogflow Telephony section of the Google Cloud Console, I wasn't able to select a specific area code. The system then displayed a message suggesting I "contact my Google Account Manager" to proceed.
I'm currently on the Basic Support plan, and as far as I know, I don't have a dedicated Account Manager.
Could anyone here offer guidance or share their experience on:
How to properly request a phone number with a specific area code (like 619) for Dialogflow Telephony?
Is there a specific process for users on the Basic Support plan to make such a request, especially when encountering the "contact Account Manager" prompt?
Are there any known limitations or alternative approaches I should consider for obtaining a local number for my Dialogflow agent?
Any insights or pointers would be greatly appreciated! My goal is to ensure our patient communication has a familiar local number.
Thanks in advance!
