Difference between “Gemini Experimental” and “Gemini 1.5 Pro” in Vertex AI?

- gemini-experimental
- gemini-1.5-pro-preview-0409
- gemini-1.0-pro-vision

Does anyone know what the Gemini Experimental model is?

The only documentation I could find that mentions this model is in the Inference API docs, but it doesn't explain what it is. 

I believe “Gemini 1.5 Pro” is the latest model, so I guess “Gemini Experimental” is a testing version of a future model, e.g., version 1.6?
