Embedding Vertex AI agent behind user log in

Hi, new to building agents but enjoying Vertex AI Agent Builder so far. 

I've been looking through the documentation and wanted to check something I'm still unclear on.

Is it possible to deploy an agent so that users have to log in to access it? 

I am assuming the simplest way would be to set up a simple user login screen and site, embedding the agent on a page that only logged in users can use. But this wouldn't allow us to track user conversations, or for users to return to previous conversations (which some customer service chatbots allow). 

Any advice or if you can point me in the right direction for documentation, would be gratefully received!

@Laura_IJ Dialogflow Messenger on Cx, supports that feature of login.
