Why can't search engine perform particular task. For example, Lets create a button for upload a file (resume) and ask search engine to give me job link that matches with my resume. Similarly not limiting searching engine to retrive information, can we ask search engine to perform particular task on the retreived information.

I agree with Mr. McMaco response on trad search engine limitatations as they intersect searcher user context and nuance, and likely relying on sticky and rev driving content and prioritizing well-optimized content over more relevant information.
Although, LLMs enavle search all day.
They provide more contextually relevant results and even generate guided content tailored to user preferences.
Try integrating LLMs with extensions, APIs, or easy to use AI data scraping tools
Makes for an intuitive search process.
Perhaps both traditional search and LLMs leveraged together?
