During the "Compare Model Performance using the Generative AI Evaluation Service: Challenge Lab" I am running into a technical access issue with the Gemini 1.5 Pro and Gemini 1.5 Flash models. I am not looking for the code answers or solutions, but need help troubleshooting the Publisher Access permissions to use the models. Other threads mention editing the IAM permissions, but because I am completing a challenge lab - the IAM edit access is restricted.
Troubleshooting: I have reset runtime and ran all, I am using an incognito window, I have spent a bit over a week of trying each day. Google Chat Support and Email Support have unfortunately been hand tied as it is a Challenge Lab, and they have the proper access so they cannot see what is wrong.
The Error: "Project `12345` is not allowed to use Publisher Model `projects/[GCP Project ID]/locations/us-central1/publishers/google/models/gemini-1.5-pro-001`
As I mentioned this is a Challenge Lab so I won't share any code, but I have triple-checked with prior labs and am confident this is not a coding issue.
