Dear Members,
I am required to develop a forecast for footfall of a single point of interest. I have detailed information about the customers that have visited the location (time of visit, gender, age, distance from home etc)
I am thinking of treating the problem as
1. A time series (univariate or multivariate) classification for the customer that has ever visited the location.
2. A look alike problem, to identify customers that have not visited the location but have similar characteristics as those that have visited.
Help guide me if my thinking is correct.
I am also failing to get good examples for dealing with a time series classification problem.
Thank you.
Anthony
