Gemini Pro API versioning

Hello, I wanted to know if it is possible to specify a version in the Gemini Pro API in the same way as it can be done in Palm like text-bison@001. Is there something like gemini-pro@001? How can I make sure I don't have breaking changes?

We appreciate your interest with Gemini Pro API but unfortunately, versioning is not an explicit feature of Gemini as of the moment unlike Palm API.

Model versions
To use the latest model version, specify the model name without a version number, for example gemini-pro or gemini-pro-vision.

You can consider submitting this as a feature request in our Issue tracking system and product feature requests.
