Hello everyone
I'm a new member of the community and this is my first post here.
I'm currently working at a company that uses GCP for some part of its environment, and one of the first tasks I was given was to identify some points for improvement regarding the organization's billing.
One of the most offending services is Retail API > Cloud Retail Search Fixed Price Subscription, SKU 32B2-2180-4E7D
At first, I scanned the billing to understand when and by whom the service was enabled. I got the first piece of information, but I couldn't find who and how this service was enabled.
Using the billing filter to understand which project it was enabled in, I understood that the service "is not linked to a specific project"
I tried to use the official Google Cloud page to check SKUs using SKU ID 32B2-2180-4E7D, but I couldn't find anything in any official documentation.
I have tried to ask for help from some Googlers I have contact with, but no one knows how this service was enabled and is constantly charged.
My last suspicion is that this service was "hired" offline by some executive of the organization I am currently working for, since the name of the service comes with the description "fixed price".
Could someone who has knowledge on this subject help me understand, first of all, what it is and how it is hired and, if possible, how it is "located" in the GCP console and how to cancel it?
Thank you in advance!
