How to Select Models from Model Garden in Vertex AI Agent Builder

Hi forks, I’d like to use other models, like Claude 3, to help generate content. I’m hoping for a no-code solution—any way to achieve this?

I’ve already enabled the relevant APIs in Model Garden, but I’m unable to select them in the agent console.

While Google Cloud doesn't currently offer direct integration with third-party models like Claude 3 within its no-code agent console, here are workarounds that might help you resolve the issue:

Send API Requests - Use the Vertex AI API to send requests directly to the Claude model endpoints.

Third-Party Integrations -  Some third-party tools or platforms might offer custom integrations with Claude 3.
