How to embed "Search and Conversation" search widget into a google site

Hello,

We're testing out a Search deployment, and wanted to put it on a google site that we've been using with DialogFlow chatbots.

We keep getting the atari-embeds.googleusercontent.com error. We've included sites.google.com in the search app console as well as out primary domain. What are we missing? While digging up info on the error code I found someone suggesting to use AppScripts as an intermediary step to deployment, but that seems... lame. Welcoming any thoughts on how to proceed.

The error you're encountering, specifically the "atari-embeds.googleusercontent.com" error, seems to be related to embedding issues with Google Sites. Embedding content on Google Sites can sometimes be tricky due to security restrictions and iframes policies.

Make sure that the Google Site where you are trying to embed the search is set to be accessible to anyone with the link or public, depending on your requirements. If you are embedding content from a different domain, make sure that the domain hosting the content allows embedding. Some websites have strict security policies that prevent embedding on external sites.

In the Google Cloud Console, make sure you have whitelisted the correct domains. You mentioned adding "sites.google.com" and your primary domain, but ensure you haven't missed any specific subdomains or variations.

Google Sites and other Google services are updated regularly, and sometimes issues get resolved with updates. Make sure your Google Site and the services you are trying to integrate are using the latest versions.
If the issue persists, consider checking the Google Workspace or Google Cloud support forums, as other users may have encountered similar problems and could provide insights or solutions. Additionally, reaching out to Google Support directly might be beneficial for more personalized assistance.

After I added this, it appeared to work as I needed it to. I forget where I got this intel from, I thought it was from the person that I selected as the answer to my question, but it does not appear to be so. I'm a little worried about allowing that domain, but it made it work.
