I would like to receive notification of the start of the ML pipeline

I have constructed Email notification of ML pipeline according to the URL below.

All I receive is notification of success or failure. I would like to receive notification of the start of the ML pipeline. Is that possible?

It looks like there are only email notifications, can I switch to Slack notifications?

Welcome back to Google Cloud Community!

Since this is still in preview, this is not available yet but yes, you can use Slack notifications, you can try creating log based alerts using the Monitoring API and choose Slack as your channel. Log based alerts can be used for notification, in this case, when a message in the cloud logs appears (e.g. the pipeline was cancelled, ended, etc.), you will receive a notification in your channel, you can also receive notifications via SMS, email, and you can use Pub/Sub as well. Thanks for answering！

I am in the development phase, so I don't necessarily need Slack notifications right away. Hopefully Slack notifications will be available soon, and I will consider using Log based alerts!
