Image editing failed - Vertex AI Vision

 Image editing failed with the following error: You have chosen the 'Allow (Adults only)' option for Person Generation, but this option is not available to you. If you would like to generate images with people, see the safety settings documentation for more details.

I get this error if I try to generate an Image using Image 3 + Image Reference. I need help

The error "Allow (Adults only)" option being unavailable arises because this specific setting is restricted and not generally accessible. While your project may not currently be authorized to generate certain images of people, you can still try generating images with people using the "Allow" option subject to standard safety filters.

However, if your intended use case involves generating images of adults in sensitive contexts, you'll need to request project approval. See this documentation for details and the request form. If approved, you will have broader permissions for generating images depicting people, although the "Adults only" setting may still remain unavailable.
