Increase API Timeout Limit for Vertex AI Gemini API

Hi Team,

We are encountering a timeout error in the Gemini API call after 60 seconds for a REST request. We are using a multi-page PDF file as input.

Is there a way to increase the timeout limit? Please find the API URL we are using below.

Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Please note that the Provisioned Throughput for Gemini 1.5 Pro provides reserved capacities and avoid timeout or ResourceExhausted errors. For timeout, you may increase the rate limit by requesting for a quota increase.
