Insights tab is not visible while generating insights for a BigQuery table under dataplex

Hello Team,

I am working on https://cloud.google.com/dataplex/docs/data-insights i have followed all the steps mentioned in above link. I am able to create dataplex setup and data profile scan. However, when i search table entry in dataplex and opens the table it don't show me insights tab.

As per Google documentation https://cloud.google.com/dataplex/docs/data-insights#insights-bigquery-table the insights tab should be visible to generate insights.

Here are some steps and checks to troubleshoot and potentially resolve this issue:

1. Verify that the appropriate roles are assigned to the service account or user performing the operations. This includes roles like:

  • roles/dataplex.dataOwner
  • roles/dataplex.dataViewer
  • roles/bigquery.dataEditor
  • roles/bigquery.dataViewer
  • roles/gemini.viewer

2. Check the status of the data profile scan in the Dataplex console. If the scan is still running or has failed, the insights tab will not be available.
3. Refresh the Dataplex console page. Clear your browser cache or try accessing the console from an incognito window or a different browser.
4. Review Logs for Errors. Check the logs for any errors or warnings that might provide more insight into what went wrong. Go to the Google Cloud Console and navigate to Logging to review any logs related to Dataplex, BigQuery, or Gemini for potential errors.
