Is it possible to reuse already verified indexed websites for data store?

I'm starting to use Vertex Search AI. As I have already verified access to the search.console and indexed data I'm wondering if it is possible to link those things and reuse the indexed content? Looking for a greener solution before moving...

If you already indexed the website from google search and domain verified then yes you can

make sure the client hasn’t changed anything in website in between like robots.txt or index to no -index

that you can check in google search console

that's great.

Can you point me to how I do that? I did not find any documentation on the topic so far.

As such we don’t have documentation for this

please try create datastore on search and vertex ai and check are you able to see your website indexed if it yes you are good to use your website as a source

I mean, I can create the new website data store and use on the Vertex Search app normally. it works.

But I was asking if I could reuse indexation we have from "https://search.google.com/search-console". Can I create the data store from there? Is that what you meant?

Sorry for the confusion but we can create the datastore either from GCP Search and Conversation or From API

From where do you want to make the datastore

you can create new datastore with already indexed website that whats you mean right?

no problem.

I wanted to create the data store and link to Vertex AI without the need to reindex a public website (I have it already indexed and verified on my account).

I got contact from Google and it's really not possible today. They have added the feature on the roadmap though.

thanks a lot

well done. (PII Removed b y Staff)
