Lab Issues

I am currently learning ML with google cloud. The course has lab sessions except the first one where I was given credentials for the specific time, rest lab sessions are showing pop up to buy more credits. The instructions however says temporary credentials will be provided once you click start button. Can anybody let me know why is this issue?
