Palm API doesn't see real-time data?

Bard seems to have access to the internet/real-time data....BUT the Palm api doesn't as far as I can tell? Is it possible to get Bard-quality answers (that have real-time info) via the Palm API?

I understand that you wanted the PaLM API to return real-time or up-to-date internet data, but unfortunately, it is not possible for PaLM API for now since it is still under development. While there are no specific documentation that explicitly discuss your use case, ideally you can consider integrating other Google Cloud APIs such as Google Search as a workaround.

hi, wanted to get an update that if now PALM or any model in Vertex AI is able to get real time information like BARD? if not by any news on when API access to BARD would be made available?
