Quota 'GPUS_ALL_REGIONS' exceeded. Limit: 0.0 globally.

Hi,

I have notebook like this

When trying to start is I get error "Quota 'GPUS_ALL_REGIONS' exceeded. Limit: 0.0 globally."

I upgraded from free trial, but it didn't help. Next I went to quota page and found no limit:

What's the issue?

Thanks to all.

Hi,

Upgrading your account is just a part of how you can request for a quota increase, it doesn't necessarily mean that your quota will automatically be upgraded. The next step you need to do is to request for a quota increase[1][2].

For further understanding about quota limits you can check this link[3]. For assistance and guidance for this request, you can reach google sales team[4]

Hi, thanks for answer.

Actually current GPU quotas are 1, that's enough for me (or even unlimited). Nevertheless in some regions I get error "No resources available", that's clear, and in other "Quota 'GPUS_ALL_REGIONS' exceeded. Limit: 0.0 globally", despite having quote 1 or unlimited.

The unlimited status is still needed for the approval of your quota limit. It was only shown “unlimited” as a reminder that you can request an unlimited number of quota.

For other regions that are having the same error message, please be informed that not all regions may have the same GPU that you are requesting. You may use this link[1] as a guidance to check which region that your GPU can accommodate.

However, if your GPU should have a quota on a particular region that is still having an error message, you can check this with Google's sales team.

For the “No resources available”, this is a temporary issue only, which means that the resources that you are using are not yet available in that particular zone. Based on this link[2] GCP is aware of this concern and typically a rare issue which they are working to make sure that the resource will be available once fixed.
