Request Document AI encountered a problem that IO. GRPC. StatusRuntimeException: DEADLINE_EXCEEDED: Deadline exceeded after 58.468507900 s. [closed = [], the open = [[remote_addr=us-documentai.googleapis.com/142.251.2.95:443]]]. Either an error timeout or it takes a long time to return a result

It appears that your Document AI service did not respond to the request within the allotted time, it can be related to a few contributing factors.

  • The resources allocated for the service might be temporarily exhausted which will resolve itself at a later time
  • The service and client might be having a slow or unreliable network connectivity at the time
  • The service is having difficulty processing the request within the  allotted time because it is too large or complex
