I tried to setup forecasting model using Vertex AI for 3 days. There some typical errors I received:
1. Training pipeline failed with error message: The values in target column revenue have to be numeric for forecasting model.
The values are numeric! I checked it several times. I decreased the number of lines for x10 times even. No result. How to resolve it?
2. Google Vertex AI does not support csv file created via Excel. I checked it. You have to upload file to Google Spreadsheet, then export as .cvs again and then upload it into Vertex dataset. It's critical bug for many users.
3. Vertex AI does not provide with clear instruction how to resolve the problem. My file did not contain timestamp field but had create_date_time. From the Vertex's point of view this is not the same. You must provide file with the 'timestamp'. Are kidding me? I had to update the file with the additional formulas and convert create_data_time to the timestamp. But anyway I can't use Vertex AI.
Can someone explain me how this tool works like?
