Some translated excel files are corrupted with Document Translation API. Excel will try to fix the translated file when I open it. I have narrowed down the problem scope to a single "space" charactor. Within the test file "test.xlsx", I can delete the "space" in front of "test" and type a "space" to recover the position, save this file and translate it again, the result will be fine. It is a magical "space".
Further more, If I move the cursor to the end of "test" and press backspace to delete charactors till the first "space", new typed charactors will become italic. Finally, I found that the "space" is a italical "space".
Sample file is shared at <URL removed by staff> You can also make a test file by yourself which contains a line of text with a italic space followed by normal words.
The screenshot is the warning message (in Tranditional Chinese) when I open the translated file "test_translated.xlsx"
I hope the Google team can address this issue promptly. Thanks
