Vertex AI search on unstructured data

Hi,

I built a Vertex AI search app on unstructured data (imported a JSONL file with data in it) and I'm getting some strange search results. For example, when I query "Japan", I got the search results in the screenshot which have nothing to do with Japan.

Also, I noticed I always get 13 search results back. Is there a reason for that and can it be configured?
