VertexAI Imagen 3 Access

I signed up for early access to use Imagen 3 models and was subsequently granted access. I've tried the Vertex AI studio and the rest api, both give the same error message:

Anyone have any suggestion on what to do? I know the user matches and I tried all my projects.

Hi OP,

Use the Google Groups page connected to the program. When you initially filled out the Google Form it specifically stated: "Reminder: Your participation in this program is strictly confidential."

I don't see it mention confidentiality anywhere. I was never invited to or saw any mention of an associated google group. Maybe you have this program confused with a different one?

Gotta love another brother (or sista) from the ole 'nati. 

Not a problem - I'm not a mod or anything- I just wanted to remind you that they take that line pretty seriously. 

Make sure to double check your Workspace & Personal account for an email with the subject: "You're In:" - if you did not receive that email, your application is either still pending or it was denied. 

Please let me know and we can continue to troubleshoot.

Yes, so I have an email that states "Access Granted", "Your request has been approved" from the Imagen Team. It's a 'no-reply' email so I can't respond. There are also instructions to access which I've followed and then see the error above.

I've tried contacting support and they referred me to someone else who isn't currently responding. I'm pretty sure I'm using the api correctly, since the older models work fine and the ai studio gives the same error. I'm not really sure what to do anymore.

There are emails within the email for you to contact. Based on what you're saying, I don't think you're approved. None of the emails use "Access Granted".

I submitted the form again just to make sure all my info was accurate and got the same email response a few days later. "Access Granted" is in the email title.

I did notice this in the form:

This form is for the Imagen Family of Models: 

Imagen 2 - is currently Generally Available with allowlist depending on your use case

Imagen 3 - is currently Generally Available with allowlist and requires approval
"

Maybe imagen 3 requires additional approval? If so, who is responsible for approving access?

Honestly, (if you're from Cincinnati- you won't be offended)- I don't think you've been approved. There's no way for us to communicate via "private message" so I'm afraid I can't really offer you anymore support regarding your registration. 

Please remember: tons and tons of people are applying and there are only a few humans there to accept those requests. It takes time, should I, or you, or anyone else get approved for a Labs beta.
