Was the Google TTS Journey Voice Updated?

We are working on a school project and have been using 'en-US-Journey-O' extensively, which has so far best and very human-like sounding voice compared to other TTS providers. Since yesterday, we noticed the voice sounding very bad—more robotic and lifeless. We tried using several SSML tags, but there has been no change. How can we fix this issue? Please help.
