What is the frequency of indexing for Website Data Stores?

In regard to the Vertex Search and Conversation Data Stores - Websites, how often is the index updated? 

I want to index a media site that has articles posted continuously. In doing a test I noticed that search couldn't answer anything about the stories posted today so I know it's greater than 24 hours. Any longer and the solution falls apart as a search function for my site.
