summarize with Gemini

Hello Everyone !

I am new with Gemini but get some results with my prompts. I am not a developer.

I am trying to get a summary of a document and Gemini always refuses. I cannot copy it in a prompt (30 pagers). I tried with a link from google drive. I cannot attach a word or PDF document (I did not see a button for that).

can somebody help me with that?

I understand you are having difficulty with Gemini and sadly your observations are valid. Gemini alone currently does not support long document summarization nor file upload. There are some integration-options available, however, they can get too technical and may incur cost in setting them up.

I'm not on Gemini Pro, I know that that removes features... above all, I'm not a developer so I won't really know how to build an API to link Gemini and my documents...
