Use oracle on premise (local) database from looker cloud

It is possible to access from looker CLOUD to  an on-premise  database (local in our servers) ?

We have a data warehouse in an "On premise" Oracle Database where we access from others BI products and I don't want to duplicate datawarehouse on the cloud. Can looker CLOUD access to my on premise? It is neccesary to installl some product on my organizatin to do that?

Scenario: Looker cloud + Oracle on premise
It is possible? It is a good architecture idea?

pd: I have checked Oracle is listed in Looker's "dialects / database documentation"

If your on-premise database is accessible via the Internet, you can indeed connect Looker to it. You will probably need some networking expertise to ensure that you can security connect from outside your organization's environment, but in principle it will work fine.
