BIOS BASES VM IMAGES WILL NOT BOOT ON ANTHOS CLUSTER

Hi Team,

I just observed something, If I start a BIOS based VM image on Anthos Cluster, it does not boot however UEFI based VM images boot up without any issues.

Do anyone knows how to get BIOS-based or non UEFI-based VM image to boot in Anthos Cluster?

If you are performing a migration, the VM that uses legacy BIOS cannot use UEFI once migrated. The migrated VM will result in failure to boot up in GCP. See How UEFI-based VM migration works
