Apigee SSO integration with IDP for Role mapping

In Apigee on premise, If I have a requirement to map the apigee Roles with external IDP roles is that possible using any of Apigee Out Of Box office features ?

When user login to Apigee, where on-premise Apigee is integrated with external IDP using SAML-SSO and have a requirement to map Apigee role with external IDP role (IDP also have additional Entitlement details and Role details) which need to be mapped with Apigee Role ? Is this feature supported ? could not get details in the docs, let me know, if you have any details and resolved such issue
