Portal support for Monetization and - own portal

1. Per above link, Lists Drupal suitable for monetization, but Apigee -X or Apigee hybrid already have the Rate plan policy for monetization. trying to understand, what's missing from Apigee side.

Lists about own custom portal, if we go with this option requires "Apigee Client Library for PHP"

What's the option for monetization when using custom portal.

Apigee Client PHP Library also supports monetisation for both Apigee X and Apigee Edge.

Drupal uses `m10n module` for monetisation along with `Apigee Client PHP Library`. Checkout  https://github.com/apigee/apigee-m10n-drupal and doc  https://www.drupal.org/docs/contributed-modules/apigee-monetization  for more
