Using a Custom Theme for the Drupal-based Developer Portal

Not applicable

Hi,

I am very well verse with Drupal and its customization like creating custom theme and modules but I am very new to Apigee Developer Portal. My questions are very straight forward -

1. Is creating a custom theme for Developer Portal is any different from creating a Drupal custom theme ?

2. does copying a licensed version of Developer Portal (all codebase and database if possible) to my local machine is prohibited ?

Thanks,

Shobhit

Creating a custom theme is no different. It's just Drupal.

You can License a theme and use it in your portal, just as you could with any Drupal-based site.

Good luck!

Thanks for the answer Dino, but I was referring here was slightly different.

I was asking can I download all the code/ database from my already licensed Developer Portal to my local machine ?

As far as new theme is concerned I will be creating one from from scratch as child theme of developer portal's theme.

Thanks,

Shobhit

yes. If the hoster is Pantheon, there is git access.

The doc is here.
