App build on complex google sheet

Hi Everybody
I run a private (offline music scool). I've build a system for keeping track of all my students and what they are working on. It has a template tab, that I copy paste for each student. I then edit that tab with all the stuff that's relevant for the student. So a column is a assignment category and the rows are levels within that category. Is it possible to build an app based on different sheets,  so one student=one new sheet. 

From everything I've seen seems it seems you need the students in a single sheet with one row per student and a bit of information in the rows, but I need a more complex system than that. Is it possible with appsheet?

AppSheet works best off database type structures, so it can work for complex datasets, but you will need to think how to organize your sheets to form the proper parent-child relationships. You can have a sheet for all your students, and then a child sheet in which you have other data for each student, such as assignments. AppSheet is capable of what you need, you will just need to reevaluate your approach. If you have more specific questions, I would be happy to look at your current system and provide some direction.

Ok, that sounds like it can do what I want. It would be great if you would take a look at it and see if it's possible to build an app around what I have so far.
