Dragging position for View Column Order placement is way off

I have noticed within the past couple of weeks (could have been there longer) that there is an issue  when dragging a column to change its Column Order position.

The dragged column must be moved way above the column list to be able to drop it in the proper position.  Same thing occurs when dragging downward.  If the column list is large, scrolling of the views happens making it more difficult to get the column to drop correctly.

See image showing how difference there is in the column being dragged and the space where the column needs dropped.  The more positions the column needs to be dragged, the larger the space  between its actual position and where it needs to be dropped.

Escalated.

Double check there’s not some lurking factor like your browser is zoomed in or out.

Nope.  Is this problem not happening for you?

I have been noticing this issue for a couple of weeks now on several apps.  I have gone through system restarts, cache clearing, logging out/logging, etc - for other situations not explicitly for this.  I am finally realizing this is not going away.

For insignificant problems, I like to wait to see if they are addressed organically first.  It's time to raise this one.  Thanks for escalating @Steve

I reported the problem several days ago. My complaint was brushed-off, but when I escalated your post, someone took notice. A fix is in the works.

No, I hadn't noticed it. In some spot-checking just now, I couldn't immediately reproduce it. However, when I checked a Form view like is represented in your screenshot I indeed experienced the issue. So, apparently either it's intermittent or it manifests only in certain places that provide Column Order control.
