Duplicate Parent and Child working on mobile but not desktop.

Creating a new post for this issue. Refer to this link for context:

I've followed @Aurelien's helpful sample app to accomplish a "Copy Parent and Child" action. The only issue is that it functions correctly on a Mobile app but not on the Desktop version of the app. Is this an AppSheet issue?

On desktop it returns this error: "Action Failed - [Parent] is required"

Check that you do not have the new Desktop Mode Preview turned ON.   See image.   This is a feature that is under development and not yet ready for LIVE apps.  

To clarify further, it is my understanding that the way rows are added in the new Desktop mode will be different.  So there may be a conflict with the copy function you are creating.

If you do not have the below setting ON, then further investigation is needed to get to root cause.

Yep, that worked. I love the desktop UX and I'm hoping I can go back to that feature once it's more solid. Hopefully with the duplicate parent/child still intact. Thanks for the solution @WillowMobileSys!
