Greetings, I’m asking because I haven’t found a solution yet. Is there any possibility to make KML files available offline? I have a very large inspection app, and I want to add all the polygons of the farms visited by my employees to help them create routes and use the map to reach farms they haven’t been to before. Is there any way to make that happen?
Solved! Go to Solution.
If I'm not mistaken, KML map layers use Google Map services to determine how and where the the overlay is applied onto the map. If you are offline and cannot connect to Google Map Services, the overlay cannot be determined.
The same can be said about determining routes between the farms. it seems you would need a mapping service for that which is not available when offline.
