Hi,
I discovered that the display of an Inline view behaves differently depending on whether the parent view is a Detail view or a Form view.
In both views, I can add a new line. OK
But, In a Detail view, if I click on a line in the Inline view, I'm taken to the detail of the linked object. I can then delete or edit it.
But, In a Form view, if I click on a line in the Inline view, I'm taken to the form view of the linked object. And I can't delete IT. (no way to delete a line)
This different behavior is sometimes annoying. How can I have the same behavior (as in a Detail view with the possibility of adding, modifying and deleting a line)?
Why would I want to have the same behavior and be able to delete a line from an Inline view in a Form view of the Parent object?
It's simple: I have fields of type Formula ( Nb. of related products) in the parent view. And this field is updated only when I saved the parent Form view ! And this field trigger a workflow !
I know that I can use a Virtual Column ! (and I use it in other case). But the workflow is not triggered when the datas comes from another table
Thanks

Not possible.
Hi Steve, ok
It's annoying. It's not a big deal, but it involves a lot of bypassing just because I can't delete a line in the parent's Form view.
I'm the only one who finds it annoying ??
Oh, I find it annoying, for sure! I suspect, though, that this behavior reflects a specific use case that is not described publicly. There are a number of seemingly-non-intuitive implementation choices throughout AppSheet like this.
