I am having issues with inconsistent image sizing in my PDF reports, created using a Microsoft Word template.
I have set up a portrait A3 word template which pulls images from 6 columns (5 are drawing type, and 1 is image type). I have a workflow format rule set for each of these columns to display as a medium image in my reports. My bot is set up to produce a PDF attachment in portrait in A3 size.
After a bit of fiddling with the formatting, this report now comes out pretty well with the images seemingly following the format rule I have set (medium size).
However, I am now trying to create a similar report with a landscape orientation in A3, and am having trouble getting the images to appear in the correct size. The template now seems to ignore the workflow format rule I have set, and displays the images in a large size rather than medium. The bot has also been updated to produce a landscape rather than portrait report.
The screenshot below shows the landscape report on the left and portrait report on the right, both supposedly A3 with the same zoom level. Both should display the same 6 images on one page, but as the landscape photos are larger, the final 3 are pushed on to a second page and the text on the right is narrowed.
Interestingly, if I change the format rule to display images in large rather than medium, nothing changes on the landscape report, but the image size increases on the portrait report, as well as other reports which I have tried to use for troubleshooting. If I change the format rule to small, however, it does reduce the image size on the landscape report. I can't understand why this landscape report refuses to display images in the medium size, but is happy to display them in large or small.
Is anyone able to shed some light on why this may be happening?
