Public app validate entry

Hi,

I would like to know if there is a secure way to validate entries from a public app,

I created a sign in app that requires a unique code to be entered and based of the code I lookup the info and send him an email to preregistered email, now the code has to be validated, and based what I have seen in other posts that there is no security on any table that's uploaded to AppSheet, meaning if validif can validate it than the user can also find it so the codes are not secure.

Any guidance on something like this?

Unfortunately there is no secured way to do this as you said.. all the data is public and available for every use.

Thanks for your reply, if I may ask what the definition of public in general means, is it accessible easy meaning anyone with a bit of computer knowledge can get it in 5 mins or it takes some time to figure it out,

did AppSheet put any security on the data?

The public app means who ever can use the app without any authentication. And because it's meant for everyone, there is no security with the data itself.. it's all available.

In this case, how would a user find a access code to enter?

With the public app It would mean that whoever can find the access code and use it.
