Push Notification without Deep Link

Anybody know if it is possible to initiate a push notification workflow that has no logic on selection of the notification in the client?

I want to use a push notification as a reminder for users that are likely filling out a separate form within the AppSheet and I do not wan't their experience to be interrupted if they click the push notification. Leaving the deep link field blank sends the user to the home application view.

In this specific use case, there could be up to 3-4 individuals that would be using an ipad, so a SMS notification is not viable.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

As far as I remember, there is no workaround for this. Even if you use a deeplink to something that doesn't exist, it still opens the latest opened app.
