Question about Permission of users

I would like to add a Calendar function in my app and when i test my app by entering data in the preview mode, the data appears in my database(sheet).May I ask can the users edit data in my database through my app?Thank you.

You get to control that as much as you want.  You can add a table formula that says something like

This user can edit a calendar entry, but not create or delete one

Or something more specific at the column level like

This user can change the [Start Time] Column but only to after 12:00 and if today is a Tuesday
