Quick edit with dekstop resets value to previous on change

Hello Community,

I have noticed a change with the quick edit feature on a table view with the desktop only. Still works ok on mobile or tablet options.. 

EG if the current value is 20 value is changed via quick edit to say 10. when saving it goes back to 20. It used to work ok till a few days ago and i am not aware i have made any change relating to this view.

Anyone else noticed this issue ??

Is this while using the Legacy Desktop or the NEW (in Preview) Desktop Mode?

I would assume it is the new desktop mode ( preview ) though not sure how to tell the difference.
