I am trying to create security filters on specific views, letting certain users to have access to the full app, whereas other users to have limited access. I have 3 tiers that I want to define. How can I differentiate between the 3 tiers? Currently I have 1 tier (sharing to a domain with user access), 2 tier (sharing to "authentication groups" with admin access), 3 tier (having a list of core users in a spreadsheet to compare against with admin access). Is there a better alternative?
Hi @sumanthbilla ,
It's just a suggestion but I'm wondering if it's not more accurate to use the "Domain Authentication" in order to manage roles directly with Google Groups and using USERROLE() for fomulas in Security Filters as like
Hi Richard_Fages1,
I see that you have a 3rd option "Dev" in the App role section. On my side I only see 2 options, "Admin" and "User". Do you know why that may be?
There you can retrieve more information about it : "Use domain groups as custom roles in your applications"
