Stop text input turning into a decimal?

Hi,

I have a column of type TEXT.

When I enter a percentage to the column, in this case 100%, it turns it into a decimal. This is very unwanted. Should this be happening in a text column?

Does this happen with other types of data aswell?

Is there a way to stop this?

If you are using Google sheet as back end, please make the column type "Norm" in the back end Google Sheet as "Plain Text" type at the option Format -- >  Number. It sounds currently the column type is "Automatic" in the back end sheet.
