Using AppSheet as a viewer for data created/inserted/updated by other apps?

I have this idea of using AppSheet in conjunction with a BPM Solution. The BPM solution controlling a full workflow of the Business Process, including the forms.

But then, when the data is inserted into the BPM, sending it to Google Spreadsheets to fill pre-created tables used by AppSheet.

And using AppSheet capacity to display tables in complex manners, drill down into the data, etc.

Anyone tried something like that?

There is no any reason why it should not work. Of course it’s not a good workflow if you need to copy/paste values from one system to another manually… lot of mistakes can happen. But basically doable.

Well, the data is not sent from one system to another manually. The BPMS should automatically connect with GoogleSheets and put the data, inserted into it’s forms, into the spreadsheets.
