slice filter based on user email

I created a slice for table of invoices. I want to make users see only the invoices that they created only. There is a way from security filter but I do not want to use this method.  the slice row filter I use [user] = USEREMAIL(). I add the slice in the view. however, I still see rows from other user emails. as far as I know , this should work. can you please advise me how to fix this.

My bad. the view was pointing to the original table not to the slice.
